About this project
Shutterlust is a photography brand owned by writer, director and photographer Bharat Kukreti. Having etched out a highly successful career for himself in the world of Indian television as a creative consultant, Bharat started devoting some time to his long-time passion – photography, quite recently. He hasn’t undergone any technical courses on the subject but shoots purely on his own understanding of lights, angles and subjects. An avid traveller and nature enthusiast, Bharat aims to add on a lot more content in the Nature and Travel sections of this site in the coming times. He also aims to spend much more time with his camera than he currently does. Bharat was born and brought-up in the lovely town of Dehradun, in the foothills of the Himalayas. His first professional stint was in Adventure Tourism, when he used to conduct nature tours, treks, river-rafting expeditions and wildlife excursions for school children. He started writing about his frequent forays into the Himalayas in local newspapers and magazines, and entered the field of journalism.
